嫁接處理對臺農 2 號番木瓜生育及營養吸收之影響

摘  要
 

   本研究比較臺農 2 號自接株與實生株二者間之生育及營養吸收的差異,以探討嫁接處理對番木瓜的影響。結果顯示,自接株具有明顯植株矮化、低節位著果、葉片生育快速,且於低溫期葉片葉綠素含量高等生育特色。而嫁接處理僅明顯增加根系對 Ca 的營養吸收,且葉部之 Ca 及 P 含量高於實生株,但並不影響二者乾物重量。由於自接株之細根群乾物量多且地上部 / 地下部的乾物量比值明顯小於實生株,顯示自接株有較佳抗風之固持能力。

Effects of Grafting on the Growth Development and Nutrient Absorption of Tainung No. 2 Papaya (Carica papaya L.) Plants

ABSTRACT
 
   The objectives of this study were to compare the growth, development and nutrient absorption between self-grafted plant and seedling plant of Tainung No.2 papaya. Results showed that the self-grafted treatment had some characteristics, such as shortened and sturdy plant, lowered the bearing position, faster development of leaves and higher chlorophyll content of leaf in cool season, which were compared to seedling plants. Grafted treatment also could improve the absorption of Ca nutrient, and reflect the higher Ca and P content in leaves than seedling plants. According to the more fibrous root system and aerial part to underground part ratio were less in self-grafted plants than seedling plants, meaning the grafted treatment could enhance the capacity of anti-wind.
